This year, the Billboard Music Awards are going to be huge — like Céline Dion and Cher kind of huge. That's right, Cher is back after a 15-year hiatus from any stage at an awards show, while Dion will be bringing back all our Titanic with a performance of "My Heart Will Go On." But there's another thing sure to be big this time around: the beauty looks.
With the temperatures rising to around 90 degrees, you can certainly expect the hair and makeup to be hot. Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus, Halsey, and more all brought their beauty A-game — with lots of dewy skin, bright lips, and old Hollywood glam. Click ahead to check out every look we loved.

Consider this further proof that the bleached pixie cut will rule this summer.

Laura Marano
When it comes to makeup trends, blue eyeshadow is certainly the most fun — and Marano was just one of the stars to rock it tonight.

Camila Cabello
Bangs can be tricky to pull off in the summer heat, but Cabello's '70s fringe was on point.

Bebe Rexha
There's no time like the beginning of the season to make platinum blond hair and dark brows happen — again.

Lea Michele
We almost always expect Michele to wear a tousled braid to every award show, but not this time. Instead, the actress opted for a tight updo and neutral makeup.

Halsey
If we had to pick our favourite buzzcut in Hollywood, Halsey might top the list. And her short 'do means we can all focus our attention to her burnt orange makeup and those freckles.

Alexandra Daddario
The Baywatch actress wore intense black liner that made her piercing blue eyes the centre of attention — but her bold red lip came in a close second.

Rachel Lindsay
Lindsay's understated makeup might just be our favourite. Those fluttery lashes, her copper lipstick, the radiant skin — it's all so good.

Olivia Munn
Is that monochromatic makeup we're spotting on Munn? Tonight the actress went for an entirely mauve makeup look — and we dig it.

Vanessa Hudgens
While most stars stuck with an updo or beachy waves, it was co-host Hudgens who went straight Hollywood glam with her retro bob. When asked about the new cut, she said: "I change my hair so often – it goes belly button or chin."

Nicole Scherzinger
Few beauty looks are as timeless as neutral makeup and sleek, shiny hair — and Scherzinger rocked it like a pro.

Hailee Steinfeld
Steinfeld is never one to shy away from a statement eye, and tonight was no different. But instead of adding in jolts of colour, the singer kept her shadow in the same grey-toned family as her dress.

Nicki Minaj
If you thought her hair was long before, then you weren't ready for her knee-grazing (yes, knee-grazing) hair tonight.
