As our news writer Carolyn Todd put it, the SAG Awards is the culmination of "America's most star-studded labor union." Every January, thespians, musicians, and cinephiles from around the globe gather to reward each other for a year well done.
Apart from the diverse set of entertainers and gowns flooding the red carpet, there's plenty to be excited about on the beauty front. After all, some of the biggest trendsetters in Hollywood will attend the show tonight. And if past shows have taught us anything, it's that there will be some killer hair and makeup inspo to be seen.
Ahead, feast your eyes on our favourite looks from the 2017 SAG Awards. Want a closer look at Millie Bobbi Brown's adorable 'do? Or Maisie Williams's oxblood lip? Well — news flash — it's all right here. Hop to!

Danielle Brooks
The easiest way to spice up an otherwise minimalistic beauty look? An edgy hair accessory, à la Brooks of Orange Is The New Black.

Chrissy Teigen
Everyone's favourite funny woman walked the carpet with luminous skin, beachy waves, and a bold orange-red lip.

Viola Davis
Davis' fanned-out lashes and chic bob prove that you don't need to whip out outré colours or crazy hairstyles to wow on the red carpet.

Millie Bobby Brown

Yara Shahidi
We don't know what we love more, Black-Ish star Shahidi's sleek updo or her sultry smoky eye.

Sarah Paulson
Paulson's asymmetrical bob has us itching to switch up our hair parts this year.

Michelle Williams
At first glance, Williams' look is pretty minimal — but the layer of kohl eyeliner rimming her eyes gave it quite the sultry twist.

Evan Rachel Wood
We're loving Wood's matte red lip — so much so that we had to find it for ourselves. (Psst, it's courtesy of the IT Cosmetics Lip Liner in Perfect Red.)

Kerry Washington
In one of our favourite looks of the night, Washington debuted silky, sleek strands and a smoked-out cat-eye.

Maisie Williams
We're digging the contrast of Williams' oxblood lipstick (courtesy of Lorac's Liquid Lipstick in Black Cherry), bold brows, and blush-pink dress.

Janelle Monàe
Monàe schooled us once again on how to rock a smattering of hair accessories. To wit: these itty bitty silver flowers.

Michelle Dockery
Dockery's slicked-back 'do let her tangerine lip and colour-blocked dress take centre stage.

Angela Sarafyan
If Sarafyan's cat-eye, neutral lips, and beachy hair aren't complete perfection, we don't know what is.

Taraji P. Henson
Henson's sheer wash of lilac on both her eyes and lips looked equal parts sweet and sultry.

Kate Hudson
Forget the rules — Hudson wore a vampy lip and a statement eye.

Sofia Vergara
Vergara got the sleek-hair memo, too, only she paired it with a stunning layer of CoverGirl's All-Day Colour & Gloss in Richest Red.

Natalia Dyer
The Stranger Things star went for a mod look that felt fresh and on-trend, thanks to her wavy, sleek bob and nude lips.
